Artists ranging from Neil Diamond to The Verve performed for some 137,000 concertgoers. (Moss performed too, but only in the karaoke tent, where she giggled through a rendition of Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy.")
Despite criticism by Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher that he didn't belong there, Jay-Z got the crowd moving during his Saturday night set. (He even opened with a cover of "Wonderwall.") Beyonce hung out in the VIP tent waiting for her husband during the sound check.
Amy Winehouse mustered up enough stamina to do a set, joking about how it took three women to get her into a slinky dress, but then wandered into the crowd to assault a fan. Later, the Arctic Monkeys' singer Jamie Cook told reporters she shouldn't have come, despite knocking one out of the park on Friday at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday in London.
Sienna Miller kept the rain off with a bowler hat and Blur singer Damon Albarn didn't perform but was seen hanging out in the neighborhood over the weekend. Lily Allen brought a Louis Vuitton suitcase--not your usual camping gear--but succeeded onstage despite losing her beloved grandmother this week.
