Are you a New York City Subway rider who's constantly plagued by fears of an another terrorist strike? Visiting town and don't want to get blown to bits? Well, you're in luck! Thanks to Subivor, you can save yourself in the event of a bombing or biological attack for the low, low price of $24.99!

Subivor is a "subway emergency kit" that contains a disposable "full facemask," a flashlight, a "seven inch pry bar" for window-breaking and a whistle--all in a stylish fanny pack! Be forewarned though, beard or 'stache wearers:

The efficacy of this product is not guaranteed for persons with substantial facial hair.

Oh, and we almost forgot, each Subivor also comes with a moist towelette, so if Al Qaeda comes a-calling you're all set!

This item is clearly a must have for paranoid urban commuters. As the Subivor website says:

Whether it is a train fire, a highrise building fire or worse. People should have more protection than a necktie.

Damn right!

for real! (none / 0)

I thought this was an Onion spoof!

Still, I always wear walking shoes when I commute to work on the subway, because I remember how far I had to walk to get home on 9-11.
