The flight was also filled with a crew of Match.com promo winners, all of whom fit the description of personality-driven well-made-up singles looking for fun. One of 'em managed to drink way too much in the Virgin America VIP lounge before the flight, doing free shots of Marker's Mark and guzzling bottles of Anchor Steam. At least he didn't light up!
The flight was easy, with lots of drinks and only an hour and fifteeen minutes in the air. The guests and crew mingled from the beginning, heavily advised by the in-flight crew to chat on the seat-to-seat system.
The second half of the Superfly promotion--which continues through the summer--gives swinging singles the chance to enjoy an open, two-hour beer-and-vodka bar at Tao, in The Venetian hotel. This is where the wheels came off, people stopped being polite and... Well, you can imagine.
Although we didn't see any passengers from the flight at the Tao after-party, the tone was laid back and the Virgin America crew kept things going, talking to everyone there. One sexy (and we mean seriously sexy!) flight attendant even threw down with some dancing on top of the leather banquette.
At the end of the night we were all close friends. Rihanna at 2 am after lots of vodka will do that to you.
