What is Virgin Atlantic Introducing on June 12?

May 29, 2008 at 8:50 AM | by | Comments (4)

We don't really care too much for secrets, so we wish Virgin Atlantic would just man up and tell us what's happening already!

We want to know what the heck is up with this cryptic letter sent to loyalty program members means:

Hello Gorgeous!

Have we got something for you, Juliana! It's brand new. It's coming soon. And it's extraordinarily unordinary.

What is IT, you ask?

Well, actually we can't say. But we did want you, our trusted Flying Club member, to know that it's coming and that it's a great new way to enjoy even more of everything you love Virgin Atlantic Airways for.

What more can we say? Not much really. But we do hope that when it's here you'll feel it and love the way it makes you feel!

Is it in-air WiFi? Is it vibrating massage chairs? The last line includes "feel" twice, so is it something tangible--like in-air spa treatments?

Help us out and put your guesses in the comments.

Hello Gorgeous?

Not saying you're not gorgeous, Juliana, but I reckon they're getting a bit personal ;-) I've always been bitterly disappointed with these kinds of advertising campaigns and I can't imagine anything that could be so "extraordinarily unordinary" as they say ... I wish it was a  vibrating massage chair in flight but I'd only want it for me, not for fellow passengers - that'd be way too annoying.

Massage chairs seem possible...

You know, they have 'em on Virgin America. Maybe there's been a little cross-pond technology sharing??

yea

I'm seconding the massage chairs. But I'll bet only in first class (ok maybe biz class too), like at virgin america. Oh man, how sweet would it be to get those sharper image stools that massage your lower legs and feet?

Goody!

I'm flying Virgin on the 13th. Dibs on the most shaky shaky chair!
