It's tiny, so if you blink you might miss it, but if you get lost just find someone with a kind face and ask, "Where's the pig bar?" It sounds weird, but the Domino Club is famous for three things: a potent honey-and-spice rum called mamajuana, down-home cooking from a Trinidadian lady named Norma George and beer-drinking pigs.
Sure, they switched to nonalcoholic brew a few years ago but it's still fun to watch the pigs slug it down. For $1, Norma will sell you a can of O'Douls. Next, you'll be escorted to the pigpen where either Grunt or Hurricane Roger (weighing in at 500 and 600 pounds respectively) will hop up, take your can, crush it with his teeth and slurp down the hoppy brew. Absolutely amazing.
When the pig is done drinking, you can head back to the bamboo bar for fried chicken, more mamajuana and yet another big smile from Norma--indeed a Caribbean rum shack at it's very best.
