At first, you'll think it looks like the UK equivalent of the ESPN Zone in Times Square but minus the screening room with the leather Lazy-Boy Chairs and skyboxes. There are two floors--with sit-down dining areas on each level--and tons of flat-screens everywhere. There's even small TVs in the dining booths. In total, there are four bars, 11 pool tables and even a small-ish dance floor for when the games are over.
Considering that we were in an ESPN Zone wannabe, we needed to down some beer fast. And there's plenty of that here. We split a pitcher with a friend and then managed to ask some boys who they were rooting for. (Red: Arsenal. Blue: Chelsea.) If their team is doing well, they've got all the time in the world to chat with you. If not, well then keep looking.
Also, most of the blokes in this place are young, like 24 and under, making the Sports Cafe also a good place for cougars. Not that we are or anything.
