We won't know the rest of the festival's program until April 23 when downloadable schedules, event details and jury selections will be released.
We can confirm that Russia will be toasting to 100 years of filmmaking at its new Cannes pavillion inside the International Village. The hope is to show international filmmakers why more movies should be filmed in Russia (aside from the obvious appeal of almost balmy Siberian winters).
And don't miss Cannes' first-ever Russian beach party honoring the 100th anniversary of "Stenka Razin," the nation's first film.
