Doesn't theairdb.com get their route information from flights filed with the DOT ? So the routes may be correct but when they will start may be incorrect ?

This was a great april fools joke because these are the kinds of routes that would be packed with flyers. Just look at the success of the florida flights from PSM.  The chicago flight would be just as popular.

Ha... Although I figured it was an April Fools Joke, I was actually kinda bummed.  I'm a frequent Skybus flier (...maybe even fangirl...) and have been considering Turks & Caicos for a fall vacation... was really exciting to think of the possibility of getting there for $10!  Ah well, LOL.

We were sorry to know skybus shut down just few days after our joke.

We actually spent sometime there. We analyzed which routes would have made sense to open, and come with a realistic plan. And, the news, or better the new base, was very, very well accepted by our readers.
