Arrest Travel: Bai Ling's Off the Hook

Last month one-time Entourage actress Bai Ling got busted at LAX after allegedly pilfering a couple magazines and a pack of batteries. But the prosecutor on her case is reducing the charges, and the star says the whole mess was a big mix up.

She even posted the news to her personal blog:

I just got the good news and I am relieved that the prosecutor has decided not to file misdemeanor charges against me and to treat this matter as an infraction. What happened was an innocent mistake on my part and I am confident that the truth will be told since I never had any intention of taking items without paying for them.

Ling's lawyer will handle things in court today so she can stay in New Mexico, where she's shooting "Love Ranch" along with Joe Pesci and Jaunted fave Helen Mirren. In the film, Ling plays the top-earning prostitute in a Nevada brothel; here's hoping her character doesn't have any run-ins with the law.
