Bill Diffenderffer Out at Skybus

March 26, 2008 at 11:56 AM | by | Comments (4)

Oh snap! We didn't quite see this one coming. Skybus CEO and Jaunted pen pal Bill Diffenderffer (pictured above, on the right) has resigned.

It's been a predictably bumpy startup for the Ryanair of America. Will new Skybus CEO (and former CFO) be able to smooth out the ride?

The Diff is returning to the writing career he left behind.

CEO Out

Is he out really to return to his writing career or are there problems within Skybus? They seem to be in a bit of trouble, but I'm hoping for them. I've got two upcoming trips from Stewart to Columbus and I want to continue the cheap and convenient service! (I live closer to Stewart than the NYC airports and am saving a fortune for a frequent trip I make)

Skybus

Every day, I stand at our office under the main runwway approach to CMH, and watch the planes come in. C'mon Columbus and all points that are served by Skybus, lets get behind this company, and keep those planes in the aire.

I'm a little sad...

that the Diff waited until I was in Uruguay to make this announcement!

I agree... I'm very doubtful about this New York/Stewart-Boston/Portsmouth service. All the flights are running at $10 or $25 right now... Not good... I've been e-mailing them from day one to start New York/Stewart to Chicago/Gary. I think that'd do especially well. But no one is gonna go 2 hours from New York City up to Stewart, then be an hour from Boston when you land in Portsmouth... Most people going to Boston drive or take Amtrak...
