Christina Ricci arrived at LAX with her traveling companion Ramon earlier this week. Aww. He's even got a sweater vest that complements his owner's!

It pays to have a buddy when you're out on the road, whether for business (as Ricci is, promoting her new movie "Penelope") or pleasure. Almost 30 million Americans took their pet on vacation last year, according to the Chicago Tribune.

If you plan to fly with Fido, these tips ought to help. And the TSA reminds you, it won't X-ray your pet--guaranteed.
