Project Runway Map: Nearing the End

Where: 1000 Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street [map], New York, ny, United States, 10028

We didn't get to blog the last Project Runway episode and that turned out to be some big dramz! The designers followed Tim Gunn to the Metropolitan Musuem of Art where they were asked to choose an inspirational piece from one of the three wings--the Greek and Roman Sculpture courtyard, the European Painting wing or the Temple of Dendur--and whip up something faboo.

In short, Sweet Pea got kicked out for her poor interpretation of a painting of peacocks by Melchior d'Hondecoeter. But Christian, appropriately dubbed "Princess Puffysleeves" by Project Rungay won the challenge with his take on a Spanish painting that Roberto Cavalli just looooved.

Even more surprisingly, both Chris and Rami advanced to the final but there's a twist. The two must show a collection before getting to compete in the final. The one with the best design gets to move forward.

And during New York Fashion Week their collections debuted, so you can check those out here.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves. Last night was the reunion episode!

Reunion shows are typically very stupid and they go over the worst, best, funniest, silliest moments of the season.

Some highlights here:

· Christian won the Fan Favorite award and we got treated to a montage of him saying "Fierce." We also learned how he styles his hair.
· Ricky tried to explain why he cries so much and almost breaks down doing so.
· The designers all agreed the WWE Diva challenge was the worst.
· Chris and Rami were very affectionate... are they dating?
· Carmen, whose name we actually forgot, got all pissy that her fellow designers didn't pretend to miss her when she got kicked off. She also snapped at Heidi.
· Jack recovered from his illness but looks like he had more work done?
· Victorya did NOT want to be there and Heidi calls her "a bit uptight, no?" but her German accent is thick when she says it so we think it doubles as a German swear.

The next and final episode with the unveiling of the winner will be shown in two weeks.
