Swimsuit Issue '08: Bikini Models on World Tour

It's here! The 2008 SI Swimsuit Issue is out today, and as usual it's a globe-spanning affair. As rumored, Ana Beatriz Barros was photographed north of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Brooklyn Decker posed in Caesarea, Israel as did Bar Refaeli, who didn't end up on the cover. That honor went to Marisa Miller, snapped in St. John in the US Virgin Islands, as we reported.

We tracked down all the locations (and all the models) and mapped 'em. The full report is after the jump.

Other shoots include Irina Shayk in St. Petersburg, Russia overlooking the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and Melissa Baker in St. John at the Caneel Bay resort; Marisa Miller and Oluchi Onweagba joined Baker there. Daniella Sarahyba went to Grand Cayman and boarded The Jolly Roger with a bunch of buccaneers. (Melissa Haro decided to stay on the beach.)

Another shoot in the Caribbean had Jessica Gomes, Miller, Quiana Grant and Tori Praver working it at Parrot Cay, a ritzy private-island resort 35 minutes from Provodenciales in the Turks and Caicos.

Jessica White went west to Hawaii and Kaanapali Beach in Maui; Praver and Jarah Mariano also went along for the trip.

Meanwhile, Julie Henderson lounged above a pool of nurse sharks at Discovery Cove in Orlando, while Gomes posed with flocks of exotic birds and dolphins at the zoological theme park.
