Tom Brady Proposes On Paparazzi-free Flight

December 26, 2008 at 1:11 PM | by | Comments (5)

While a crowd of photogs swarmed sidelined Patriots QB Tom Brady as he arrived at Gisele Bundchen's New York townhouse on Christmas Eve, they certainly weren't lurking when he proposed late that night: Brady filled a private jet with white roses, stocked the bar with champagne and took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey for Boston before popping the question to his girlfriend of about two years.

While we can understand why a gal might want to marry Brady, we're still amazed that anyone would agree to fly to Boston at this time of year. Point that private jet south, lovers!

i just did all three of those things and it's NOT because i don't like gisele or whatever. but seriously a private plane? from new jersey to boston? they weren't even going anywhere romantical! lame lame lame lame.

I think it's cute

Which is not to say I would ever expect or want such an outlandish gesture in my own life. (Not to mention, I don't find him attractive AT ALL.) But Brady is loaded, so of course he's going to do it up in style. And given how the paps stalk them (you too, TMZ!) maybe this was the best place where they could be assuredly alone. Uh, aside from the crew and whatnot.

not attracted to #12?

really? how is that possible? even dudes find tom brady attractive. anyways, it just seems so cheesy. then again, he does playfootball and she's a supermodel. we're not exactly dealing with the smartest people here.

the dudes can have him then

Although 12 is my lucky number! I don't know, I just never got it.

Rumor!

I knew it was too cheesy to be true. Toms dad and gisele's sister have denied the couple is engaged. How TMZ came up with that plane proposal, we still don't know. I hope when he does it for real that it's not on a plane!
