The food, part rustic, part refined, always trying to layer different textures and sensations (like warm and cool in the same bite, or soft and crunchy side by side). We have both a wood-fired oven and a wood-fired grill in the open kitchen, one is perfecting a marinated grilled radicchio, and the other roasted lemons.
The Italian-inspired dining room has all kinds of fancy trimmings, like glass chandeliers, Venetian plaster walls and a covered patio with a fireplace. Considering menu offerings like veal tartare cannoli and homemade salt-cured prosciutto, the prices are actually rather attainable, with pasta dishes in the $15 to $18 range.
