The regular menu has a with-the-trends celebrity-inspired theme: The mighty hot fire dog is known as the Keira Knightley; it used to be the Jennifer Garner, and before that, the Britney Spears.
The line around the block and kitschy Elvis decorations may not be a draw for crowds used to white tablecloths, but with prices ranging from $1.75 for a traditional Chicago-style dog, to 8 bucks for the fanciest specials, this is one truffled up restaurant that should make it through the recession.
