Chasing Michigan: Sex and the Midwestern Town

There have been several Kim Cattrall sightings reported in Michigan where she has been shooting the new HBO pilot, "Miss January" since the beginning of September.

In the show her character, a retired porn star, is tracked down by a young man who is infatuated with her. Filming has taken place around the state in several small communities including West Bloomfield, Livonia, and most recently, Romulus.

Kim Cattrall isn't the only "Sex and the City" alum spending time in the Wolverine state this fall. Ron Livingston a.k.a. Carrie's ex-boyfriend Berger (you know, the one that broke up with her via post-it note) will begin filming "The Company Men" in Detroit this month.

The indie comedy is about a jaded businessman trying to keep his business afloat. Is it just us or is there some typecasting going on with that one?
