Possible Presidents Travel: Everybody Gets a Label

Joe Six Packs and soccer moms turned out en masse to see Barack Obama in Columbus, Ohio this weekend with special guest Bruce Springsteen. The Boss recently made a very special donation to the Obama campaign: Along with his co-headlining a benefit in New York City with Billy Joel, a group of very special campaign volunteers got free tickets to a Saturday show in Philadelphia.

But with the second presidential debate coming up Tuesday, he's off preparing until tomorrow night's bout at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. While he crams, Michelle Obama will be meeting and greeting the populace tomorrow in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Post-debate, Obama sallies forth for what his campaign hopes will be a victory rally at the Indiana State Fairgrounds; Floridians can have breakfast with Biden in Tampa on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, John McCain rouses the faithful at a a rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico before withdrawing to an undisclosed location to study while potential Veep Sarah Palin attends rallies in Ft. Myers and Clearwater, Florida today and Pensacola and Greenville, North Carolina on Tuesday.

Palin told spectators gathered in Englewood, Colorado Sunday that Obama is "Palling around with terrorists" because former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers once hosted a campaign event for Obama early in his career. Obama has denounced Ayers' political activities; commentators say his campaign will reach into McCain's past to find some mud to sling instead of engaging directly with the Alaskan governor.

Media camping out for Tuesday's debate got a special treat last night: Brad Paisley and Trisha Yearwood performed at Belmont, with future debate moderator Bob Schieffer's band Honky Tonk Confidential. Yes, but what about Honky Tonk's voting record?!
