First-Person Flight Reviews: JetBlue Goes Abroad

October 21, 2008 at 1:00 PM | by | ()

With the majority of their flights landing there and a new terminal on the way, it's pretty clear that JetBlue loves itself some JFK.

But the carrier has slowly started adding flights to Orlando International Airport as well, and beginning early next year, MCO will see a new JetBlue flight to Bogotá. If the service on this new offering is similar to the carrier's other international efforts, then we're in for a treat.

After starting his journey in Sweden, one user on Airliners.net was pleased with the JetBlue experience en route to Cancun:

We were served with full can of soda (yay) and a choice of snacks. Soon after that I fell asleep and woke some 40 minutes before landing. My seat was 4F and the legroom was more then plenty. I have never seen so much legroom. Not even at emergency exit.

JetBlue is really a great airline, and their staff were really friendly.

On TripAdvisor users are encouraging others to pay a little bit extra to fly JetBlue instead of other carriers as well as praising their service:

Last year, we flew with JetBlue. No issues--departed on time and arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule. The seats were comfortable and rather than being given "bad airline food," quality snacks and soft drinks were provided.

Finally, although not exactly international from the US, a user on FlyerTalk shares her experience regarding a recent trip to Puerto Rico:

I reserved the seats with extra legroom which provided great pitch but the only complaint with the seats were that they were a bit uncomfortable after a couple hours. Luckily the flight was just under four hours. The FA's were extremely friendly and on the ball with snack and drink refills. All-in-all it was a great first experience with B6. I will definitely use them again to get back down to Aguadilla.
