OK, so he's kind of a white Australian Eminem, but as LC says, he's nice without being "a too nice guy." (Plus, they already went on a date before! That's so Lauren's type.) And there is cuteness when Audrina takes him to meet the gang at the Malibu Beach House, even though her male friends do a really crummy job keeping JustinBobby away. (Frankie, on the phone: "It's pretty lame over here... Actually it's really plum." Great lying. What are you, some kind of honest man?!) But then this happened:
Oh honey no. He came over, they drank a little, she wanted to go swimming but he wasn't into it. Then he busted out this line:
If you took your top off and went over there I might chase you.
And it worked. And thanks to MTV's syrupy editing, for a brief second by the pool, The Man With Two Names actually reminded us for a brief second of this one guy we knew who would say really inappropriate things and then flash this smile as if to say, Aw come on, you know it's really not like that,, and... Oh God. Forget we said anything. Yeesh.
Just another example of the psychological warfare being waged on this channel.
This week's subplot was so much of a footnote, it's hardly worth mentioning, but what you need to know is that Spencer finally got Heidi to ask Holly to move out, even though as she correctly pointed out, he crashed with his sister for two months. You know what that whippersnapper needs? A job, that's what. Now if you'll excuse us, there are some kids we have to chase off our lawn.
Next week: "The Hills" cribs from "Laguna Beach" and plans a Cabo trip! With both Corey and JustinBobby along--and Solo cups involved--there's bound to be trouble.
