Strength Travel: Bodybuilders Lifting Cars

In a stab at irony, or perhaps out of just plain, old gale, Russia is going ahead with its aptly named Strength Day this Sunday in another excessive show of brute force. And we thought the country already exhibited all its strength earlier this month when it invaded a small country!

Coinciding with the holiday is a strong-man competition, The Golden Tiger, held on the first Sunday in October. It's the kind of event in which real-life monsters drag semi trucks with their bare hands.

Despite the diminished life expectancy and diminished packages that coincide with heavy juicing, athletes with terrifying-sounding Slavic names still choose to compete annually, all for the title of Golden Tiger Champion.

Organizers have even invited Schwarzenegger. Seems unlikely he'll make an appearance, but who knows. We never thought the Terminator would win governorship of America's largest state. The guy's full of surprises!
