Jaunted at Sundance: Park City Transit

Park City is unfortunately too big (and too cold) for walking and too tightly packed for driving. That means you'll be taking the bus if you have any sense. There are nine routes plus a trolley; learn them and love them, as they'll be your lifeline during a trip to Sundance. Bonus: They're free.
The main routes to know are 1 (red) and 2 (green), though all of them stop at the Old Town Transit Center, above, near Main Street. Busses that head out to The Canyons even have little ski racks on the outside, so you can commute to the slopes without worrying about parking. (One bus we hopped this morning had more people going to the slopes than not.)
While the route map can look confusing at first, it's actually pretty simple. Just make sure you're on the correct side of the street for the direction you want to go, or you'll have to ride out the whole loop. Also, if you're confused, Utah apparently has the world's most friendly bus drivers, so just ask for help.
