NFL Quarterbacks Travel: We're Happy Romo Went to Baja

Not to get too sports crazy, but we're thrilled that the New York Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. But despite what sports columnists might say, we don't think it had anything to do with Tony Romo's trip down to Mexico with gf Jessica Simpson and her parents. In our book, any time's a good time to jet down to Baja California, playoff season or not.

Romo and Co. flew into Cabo San Lucas International, which serves private flights. If you're hoping to get down to the cape but don't have your own jet, Los Cabos International is just down the road from CSL and has three terminals that serve North America. All six of the legacy carriers fly in, and WestJet offers seasonal low-cost service to Los Cabos from western Canada.

Much to HotelChatter's chagrin, no doubt, Tony and Jessica shacked up in a rental vacation home instead of a hotel. If you're looking to do the same, we've always had good luck with VRBO, the biggest vacation rentals site out there. We doubt it's what Romo used to book his house, but what do we know? We're not loser quarterbacks.
