Our Eat 'n Sleep feature profiles a restaurant in a random city and a hotel nearby. It's kinda like that old show "Dinner and a Movie" but you know, with restaurants and hotels. And better jokes.

If you're hanging around on Grand Cayman and feeling peckish, the right thing to do is head for a big seafood meal: The Lobster Pot lives up to its name, with a huge menu of really fresh fish and shellfish. The Lobster Pot has been simmering for thirty years with the same family at the helm to perfect its dishes and service. The red snapper with almonds and sauteed bananas may sound weird, but, trust us, yum. The only aspect of the Lobster Pot that we can't quite fathom is its obsession with Austrian wines, but since Austria has more good wine-making operations than the Caymans, we're ok with it.

If the wine gets to be too much and you need to hit the sack, the Coral Sands Resort is right nearby, at 293 North Church Street. They might not have exotic European wine, but they do have a private beach, cable TV, air conditioning and rooms that have views to both the pool and the sea. Add to that maid service and "tasteful new furniture" and you've got a perfect combination. And hopefully a belly full of seafood.
