Fall Foliage Fanatics: Bike the Natchez Trace Parkway

September 21, 2007 at 12:35 PM | by jnaw | 0 Comments

Most fall foliage fanatics enjoy the changing colors from the comfort of their climate-controlled cars. But we've found a way for those with an adventurous spirit to take to the open road in better way: bikes. (This also makes the trip more fun than touring with your boring grandparents.)

REI Adventures will be offering a four-day autumn cycling trip along the Natchez Trace Parkway in Tennessee from October 25th through the 28th. The $990 fee includes three nights in hotels along the trail, meals, professional guides and road crew support, too.

You can even pack light, since REI provides riders with bikes and helmets. If there's a better way to enjoy the crisp weather of fall, we sure can't think of one.
