The college football season is in full swing, so where are the best road-trip worthy stadiums? We've got the teams, the games and the shenanigans covered on our College Football Travel map.

After falling to the Florida Gators in the National Championship Game last year, the Ohio State University Buckeyes are out to win it this season. Last week's shaky start against Washington didn't inspire confidence, but the scoreboard is what counts, and OSU is now 3-0 heading in to conference play. Saturday, the Buckeyes host Northwestern at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.

But the two biggest games of the year will be the last ones: OSU plays Illinois in November for the Illibuck trophy, and then will head to Michigan to face their arch-rivals, the Wolverines. Before that, though, you have a few more chances to catch OSU at home.

The venue:
Ohio Stadium can pack in more than 100,000 fans, and you'll find most of them outside tailgating before and after the game. If you can't rustle up a ticket--and don't have and RV--the best place to catch the action is at The Varsity Club. A block from Ohio Stadium, on game days the VC is almost as packed as the 'Shoe itself.

At the Stadium:
OSU fans take their tailgating seriously, and they start early: the RV lots outside the stadium open at 5 am. Once you've had your fill of flat screens, grills and massive RVs, head up to West Lane Ave., where students get rowdy before the game. You'll find bar after bar full of bands, grub and rabid fans.

Insider's Tip:
The Buckeyes love singing, and they've got The Best Damn Band In The Land to back you up. You'll want to learn Hang On Sloopy before the beginning of the 4th quarter. Also, memorize this: "We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan."
