Baggage Check: I'm Keeping My Handbag

Wealthy or not, there are rules on planes, and we all know that sometimes, flight attendants will insist we stow our luggage in the overhead compartment, especially if it doesn't fit under the seat in front of you. You know the drill. Unfortunately the wife of one of Asia's richest men, Raymond Kwok Ping Luen, recently thought the rules don't apply to her.

On a Cathay Pacific flight from Hokkaido in northern Japan to Hong Kong over the weekend, attendants asked Mrs Kwok to put her handbag in the locker. She refused, and refused again when a senior steward was sent to persuade her. After landing, the police were sent to catch up with her and the parties "came to an agreement" after three hours of discussions. It really makes us want to know what was really inside that bag.
