Want to check out Australia's oldest theme park? It's no Disneyland rip-off, it's simply Australia's very own Fairy Park. Relax, we're talking good, clean fun here: it's a theme park based on all those psychedelic fairy tales your mom used to tell you, like Snow White, Cinderella and Pinocchio.

Being the oldest theme park down under means you can't expect hi-tech rides or the latest in cinema technology, but you will find a yellow brick road, 20 hand-crafted scenes that spring to life when you push the button, and, if you've got good eyes, some real live koalas, way up in the trees. Fairy Park is near Geelong, the next big stop an hour out of Melbourne, and it's never too full of tourists. It's one of those "pure fun" spots that can be a real laugh.
