Fireworks Wrap-Up: The Good, The Bad, And The Dangerous

Independence Day has passed, and America is pulling out its earplugs and bandaging its limbs. While many Americans stood below professional fireworks displays in cities and towns across the country -- or watched them broadcast in HDTV on NBC -- a patriotic few took matters into their own hands (with a little logistical advice from us). Hundreds of injury reports came across the wire after the Fourth came to a close, including burned children, injured adults, and even a triple shooting in Cleveland prompted by neighbors' argument over noisy fireworks.

We're ready to return to clear and quiet skies. Until next year.
