Flight Attendants
Warning: Don't Steal Qantas Cookies

We've always thought that Qantas flight attendants are a particularly friendly bunch of people (and we're not just thinking of the Ralph Fiennes kind of friendly). So we were a little bit disturbed to hear that a Qantas flight attendant had been sacked for stealing.
But there's better news this week: Phillip Woodward-Brown, who's worked as a flight attendant for 32 years, got his job back after a legal battle over the theft. They say he stole 16 chocolates, three cookies and 2 pens. He says he knew they'd be thrown out anyway. There was no real agreement reached over the stealing thing, but they realised that sacking a perfectly good flight attendant over 16 chocolates was taking things a bit far.
But just in case, watch out when you're next flying Qantas: if your flight attendant tells you there are no snack packs, ask them to look again.
