Ibiza Responsible for James Blunt's New Album?

Where: Ibiza, Spain

You couldn't swing an iPod last year without hearing the James Blunt single "You're Beautiful" warbling out of a speaker. The melted-butter voice of Blunt, with his story of a glimpse of a beautiful woman (possibly his ex-girlfriend) on a train may have "one-hit wonder" written all over it, but no one told the artist, who spent last year on the island of Ibiza recording a follow-up.

Despite his soft-rock success, James told Billboard he wrote sophomore record "All the Lost Souls" after coming home from the island's crazy clubs. If the album sells fewer than 11 million copies (the estimated take for debut "Back to Bedlam"), let's hope Spanish tourism doesn't take the hit. That would be just as absurd as Guns 'n' Roses blaming China for the delay on "Chinese Democracy."
