Heads Up on Heading to Heathrow

June 1, 2007 at 9:57 AM | by | Comments (0)

If you're flying in or out of London Heathrow this weekend (June 1 and 2), beware! Major engineering works on the Piccadilly Line are going to cause chaos on regular travel routes from central London out to Heathrow airport.

If you're trying to take a normal Underground route to Heathrow, you'll be transferred by bus instead, and it'll no doubt take much longer than you plan. The good news is that if you have a valid Underground ticket going as far as Heathrow, you'll be allowed to use the fast (overground) trains from Paddington to Heathrow (like Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect) for no extra charge--that's what we recommend. Happy Heathrowing!
