Since she doesn't have a full head of hair to shave off any more, Britney Spears has to get her kicks somehow. On Monday, "somehow" meant driving around in a Mercedes convertible singing Aerosmith songs, according to TMZ. Why "Walk This Way" when you can drive in a swanky new car?
If you want to replicate the Spears sing-a-long this weekend, don't go to Hertz: Their Mercedes convertibles are already sold out, and so are the Corvettes and Mustangs (unless you actually are Britney Spears). But $74.99 a day can get you a nice Mazda Miata! And Thrifty has some $96 PT Cruiser convertibles. But the moral of the story is, if you want to rent a Mercedes convertible, plan ahead. Or start saving up for your own.
