Lake Tahoe Swings Into Spring

May 1, 2007 at 10:35 AM | by pbb | 0 Comments

By the time May rolls around, thoughts of skiing have pretty much disappeared like a hill of moguls under the blazing sun. But Squaw Valley USA is still going strong with top-to-bottom skiing. With a snow base of 60-80" at 8,200 feet, this isn't your average spring riding, though the snow will be a little soft. An all day ticket will cost you $55--not exactly cheap, but it's less than you'd have paid during the winter season.

If you'd rather pack up the sticks for the season and think summer, the Incline Village Golf Courses have your game. The driving range is open to help you knock the rust off your swing before tackling the Championship Course. It's slated to open for play on May 11.
