I Wanna Go Everywhere!

April 23, 2007 at 9:06 AM | by amandak | 3 Comments

Some days we think that we're pretty experienced travelers. Then we check out a depressing website like PassportStamp and remember how much more of the world there is left to see. If only we had the time and money to travel across the whole world ...

But somehow, 28-year-old Lee Abbamonte reckons he can. He's another BootsnAll-sponsored rogue traveller and his mission is to be the youngest person to travel to every country in the world. The "official" list says there are 315 and he's been to 115 so far; he has to get to the remaining 200 before he's 37 years, 9 months and 17 days old. Lee's blog zig-zags across the globe covering both his current and past trips, and he peppers it with Top 5 lists and "Where is this?" picture contests. But you'll probably just feel jealous, so we can't really recommend reading it.

Hey this is Lee and I saw that you linked to my site so I thought I'd check out yours, it's very cool and interesting.  I just wanted to say that you shouldn't be jealous and should recommend my site to people.  I am not bragging, just trying to put up some fun and informative travel info based upon my experiences in a creative way with a little commentary here and there, kind of like you guys do...take care.

    Thanks Lee

Good to hear from you, Lee. But c'mon, we've gotta be a bit jealous ... check out our follow up coming later today: we're challenging you to visit Christmas Island. (there're are heck of a lotta tiny places on that 315 "country" list!).
