Vino Volo Opens at BWI
It's already settled at Dulles Airport (above), Sacramento Airport and SeaTac. Now Vino Volo, the airport wine bar chain, has arrived at BWI, as reported by CheapFlights. Vino Volo stores sell wine, gifts, and offer sit-down wine tastings and snacks as an alternative to crummy airport and airline food.
At first, we were a bit skeptical of the concept and figured these were just glorified gift shops with no real dining options. However, this shot on Flickr, taken at the Dulles store, looks promising. The food does appear great by airport standards, and the wine...well, we're guessing it is the best you'll find at an airport. We prefer beer in those situations, but to each his own.
