JetBlue vs Virgin America: Seat Back Screens

March 15, 2007 at 9:37 AM | by markj | 1 Comment

It is inevitable that Virgin America and JetBlue will become heated rivals when and if VA begins to fly in the US.

Currently, JetBlue's leather seats, additional leg room and 36 Direct TV channels are the best available choice, at least as far as domestic in-flight comfort and entertainment goes (On time arrival?  That is another story...).

Since Jaunted was lucky enough to get aboard a brand new Virgin America A320 last week, we are now able to compare back-of-seats televisions--JetBlue on the left, Virgin America on the right.

Let's hope this coming air battle means big time airfare wars.

    FARE WAR! FARE WAR!

There is such a big difference between 32" seat pitch and 36". But then, Virgin has more to distract you from the shooting pains in your legs. I'll just have to wait until the guv'ment lets me take my first VA flight to decide which is worth it.
