Airline Lavatory Tips

First: if you're not familiar with it already, sorry we have to be the ones to break it to you that there's actually a website called Poop Report. Second: who the hell doesn't wear shoes into an airplane lavatory?!? According to this Poop Report article written by a flight attendant, actual human beings have been known to intentionally enter the lav without shoes or even socks on:

Second piece of advice: wear shoes! I am always shocked to see how many people go into the lav without shoes or socks on. Don't they realize that the liquid that permeates the floor is piss potpourri? So roll up your long pants before you enter! The lavs rarely get disinfected. Between most flights, the groomers are on a tight schedule and barely have the time to give the place more that a quick once-over.

The FA dishes out some other handy advice, including, and most importantly, "don't touch anything." That probably means ever. We could have told you that. Anyway, we're never mentioning Poop Report again.
