WiFi Wednesday: Double the Fun Edition

This week, we're taking a slightly different tack. Instead of just singling out an airport to avoid for its lack of WiFi, we're giving you an alternative. So let's take a look at our first destination: Los Angeles.

Los Angeles International Airport comes up a little short in the WiFi department. You can jump on the Boingo network in most areas of the airport, but as always that comes with a fee. Not the best showing for one of the busiest airports in the country.

Your alternative--if you're into copious free WiFi signals like we are--is Long Beach Airport. It's a bit farther from Hollywood and Beverly Hills, but it's much closer to Anaheim, Newport Beach and The OC. As for the 'net connection, it's totally free, though you do have to scope some ads when you fire up your browser. Our only gripe is that it doesn't quite cover the whole airport, so check the coverage map before you fly in.
