Submerged in intrigue...

The 1,754-passenger Norwegian Dream crashed into a barge near Montevideo, Uruguay on Monday, spilling shipping containers into the sea. That kept the Celebrity Infinity from coming in to dock, as port officials worked to get the harbor cleaned up. Passengers were left wondering where their next stop would be--and the cruise lines were stuck offering apologies (and vouchers).

Meanwhile, murmurs of a cover-up are swirling around the MS Explorer, the expedition vessel that sunk off the coast of Antarctica last month. Says one expert on tourism in the area:

To think [the Explorer] could sink in less than 20 hours from a relatively modest incident is very surprising. It makes you wonder if something else happened, because it really doesn't add up.
