Extemporaneous Reactions: The DOT's Plan for JFK

There's your problem...

The New York Times really got people talking today with this morning's story on how to alleviate over-crowded skies at JFK. But did the story already come out, on Monday, in Aviation Week? Maybe!

The wonky trade magazine's version of the DOT plan sounds very similar to the one published in the Times today, with the White House demanding a market-based solution to congestion at New York's busiest airport. That has Sean O'Neill at Budget Travel--and us--worried about higher fares, though a DOT spokesman says the agency has yet to finalize a plan.

So while we still don't know what's actually going to happen, we do love reading all the predictions about what's in store for JFK. Check out the best guesses, below.
