Major international carrier (and home of exploding curries) British Airways is right on track to make itself a little bit more unpopular.
A couple of weeks ago BA announced that it would no longer carry some larger sports articles free of charge. The ban that started this week includes surfboards, canoes and javelins. But somehow skis, snowboards and bicycles are still allowed.
The British Surfing Association has got particularly annoyed and handed in an 8,000-signature petition. They reckon British Airways will rue the day they ever tried to cross a surfer on his way to a (distant) beach.
