What's Next for Skybus?

Like all airlines, Skybus tends to stay hush-hush about new routes until the last possible minute. But there's been some news leaking out in the past few days that we've managed to scrape together. We're expecting to hear about some new flights sooner rather than later, but keep in mind that for now all this is just gossip; as a rule Skybus doesn't comment on future flight plans.
First and foremost, we're still waiting for what could be the biggest announcement: service to the Bahamas. It would be the airline's first international flight, and as we know, other airlines are ramping up winter service, especially out of Boston and New York. Our prediction? Flights to the Caribbean out of Portsmouth, NH.
Skybus has also talked with officials at Harrisburg International Airport in Pennsylvania. The airport authority is working an incentive package to lure Skybus, says airport director Tim Edwards. HIA is 103 miles from Philadelphia and 83 miles from Baltimore.
Also courting the airline is Niagara Falls International Airport, which is close to Buffalo and 86 miles from Toronto. Airport officials say daily flights between IAG and another Skybus city--Columbus, Greensboro or Portsmouth--could start by February.
