"The Office" Faithful Flock To Electric City
When the good people of Scranton, Pennsylvania, found out NBC was setting its workplace mockumentary "The Office" there in 2005, they probably thought they were being picked on. After all, one of the pivotal jokes of the BBC's "Office" was that the struggling paper factory was located in such a post-industrial wasteland that no one would notice if a bomb were dropped on it. But two years later, Scranton's raking in the tourism dollars, and this weekend hosted the first annual "Office" convention.
Fans who braved the cold rain had the opportunity to talk to cast members, hang out at casino night at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs and dress like giant bobbleheads for a look-alike contest.
