Here is the quick and dirty flight review:
· Flew California Dreamin' Airbus A320
· VA handing out free headphones now. Choice of earbuds or classic headphones.
· Two months in the plane was clean and still new looking
· Cup holders are gone (bummer!) -- too stiff -- majority rules. VA changes things like this on the fly.
· Safety video debuted. Same spirit as these video.
· In-flight television was more stable than it was in August, but still spotty on Dish Network feed. Bottom line: this isn't going to get that much better unless EchoStar gets their transponders up to speed.
· Multiple bug fixes have been released to the IFE platform since this incident, and the crashing issue appears to be cleared up.
· In-flight suggestion email actually goes directly to Charles Ogilvie's Blackberry. First, that is so cool. Second, now that you know this don't abuse the suggestion box or flood it with foolish requests. Instead, use this as a way to help shape the in-flight entertainment the way you want it.
Remember to leave your Virgin America flight reviews here.
By the way is there any doubt the Charles Ogilvie is the face of Airline 2.0?
