Antarctic Cruise Gets Stranded, Turns Notsofun

In the interest of fairness, we should point out that Russian and Central Asian airlines aren't the only travel transporters that run into problems. Cruises can be scary, too, and not just because they harbor the occasional Norovirus.

A Norwegian Coastal Voyage ship hit an island on its return from Antarctica early today. No one was hurt, and the passengers seem to be holding up well. They may all already be on another one of the company's ships, which was sent to rescue them.

One Norwegian passenger even went so far as to comment to reporters that "We are having a fine time. In fact, it is very nice." On the other hand, you just know one American is waiting to sue.
