Airline Report: News Round-Up

· JetBlue has launched a cruise booking component on its website. Customers can now book plane tickets and cruises on all the major lines together in a few easy clicks. They're also offering a best price guarantee. Still no word on that onboard WiFi!
· Scorpion stings are the new lost luggage, and apparently a stab to the leg can be quite lucrative. United Airlines has made a decent offer to the guy who got sliced on a recent flight from Chicago to Burlington, Vermont. Maybe they'll be less stingy with the cash now that the Beijing flight has come through. Then again, they're an airline, so probably not.
· Speaking of lost luggage, Air Canada doesn't have the best record with it. A recent Canadian local news investigation reported that 1 in every 100 Air Canada passengers has their luggage "misplaced." That statistic puts Air Canada on part with domestic carriers SkyWest (a Delta and United partner) and Mesa (a Delta and US Airways partner), as per recent DOT statistics.
