Sky Nanny, Not as Bad as SkyChefs

September 6, 2006 at 9:35 AM | 2 Comments

There are plenty of arguments for why U.S. carriers are failing while those abroad, especially in the Gulf States, continue to grow. It's a matter of culture, or economic realities, or a lack of subsidies, or too much competition; everyone's got an angle. If we may, here's our theory, with this ad for Gulf Air as Exhibit A: Does United Airlines have a "Sky Nanny" or an on-board chef? Do they have smokin' hot flight attendants from over 60 countries? Exactly. Now that we think about it, though, there are quite a few passengers on every flight who could use a Sky Nanny.

    Best Idea Ever!

Props to Gulf Air, but you know who really needs a Sky Nanny or two? Malaysia Airlines. I SWEAR they are the official airline of screaming babies. Sorry, I'm still scarred.

    Sky Nannies

Montenegro Airlines could do with one as well... Who knew that a baby could scream for an hour straight without getting hoarse?
