Panda, Man, Bite Each Other, Remain Friends

Take one Chinese guy, four jugs of beer, a zoo animal (say, for the sake of local custom, a big panda), and a desire for affection. What do you get? A panda who bites a man and a man who bites the panda back.
Sounds like a weird story. We previewed it last week and can't help ourselves: We have to delve deeper. In the Beijing Zoo an otherwise normal man named Zhang Xinyan decided giving 7-year-old panda Gu Gu a cuddle was a high priority. Entrance to the panda section incurs an extra fee compared to the rest of the zoo, so clearly not just any animal would do for this moment of affection. Zoo officials eventually used a hose to release the two cuddling biters from each other's jaws and reports say that both human and panda have made a good recovery.
