Separating Seeds and Stems from Nuggets of Advice

The argument over what a travel guide is supposed to be results in the many different kinds of guides that are out there. Some focus on hand-holding and important monuments, while others are all about the nightlife. No matter what, however, the concept is simple: give precious local knowledge to the non-local.

By that standard, WeBeHigh is an excellent travel guide. A repository of how to score pot on a country-by-country basis--really, from Aruba to Vietnam--it then discusses where you'll be likely to find dealers, how tolerant the country and city are about consumption, and whether you should eat that last cookie. There's no way to tell how legit the advice is--they say that the best place in Prague to buy is Chateau Rouge, which, well, it's not--but it makes for an entertaining read nonetheless.
